On 10 May 2012 ICRH (International Centre for Reproductive Health) organised the interactive event LUMIMA, an information and sensitization initiative within the framework of the Belgian Development Days.
LUMIMA started at 3 p.m. with 'Think & Taste', an information market about the Millennium Development Goals 4 & 5 (reducing child mortality and improving maternal health).

Pneumococcal disease kills more than half a million children under the age of five every year. Pneumonia is the most common form of serious pneumococcal disease. In developing countries, pneumonia accounts for 18% of child deaths.Pneumococcal vaccines protect against several forms of pneumococcal disease, such as meningitis, pneumonia and bacteraemia.
