Objectives of the meeting

• Training of trainers on the most relevant aspects of introduction of two new vaccines (HBV and Hib) into the EPI programme;
  
• Learning lessons from the recent introduction of penta- or tetravalent vaccines into the EPI programme in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda;
  
• Integration of pre-service training.
